Quarterfinals

9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Up to eighteen pre-selected candidates will perform their complete violin concerto (or similar work for violin & orchestra) with a collaborative pianist who performs the orchestral reduction.

This page will be updated with details of performer, performance time, and repertoire, on June 16, 2027 after the drawing lots.

Quarterfinals and semifinals are open to the public and free to attend. Quarterfinal results will be announced shortly after the conclusion of the round.

Semifinals

Friday, June 18, 2027

10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Up to nine candidates advancing from Round 1 will perform their entire 20-minute solo recital program without interruption.

Quarterfinals and semifinals are open to the public and free to attend. Semifinal results will be announced shortly after the conclusion of the round.

Masterclasses

Friday, June 18, 2027

5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Pre-selected participants will perform a brief solo program and receive instruction on stage from competition jurors.

Masterclasses are open to the public and free to observe.

Finals

Tuesday, June 22, 2027

7:00 p.m. | Moody Performance Hall

Three candidates advancing from Round 2 will be invited to perform their entire violin concerto with the Dallas Chamber Symphony at Moody Performance Hall in the Dallas Arts District. This page will be updated with details of performer, performance time, and repertoire, on the evening of June 18, 2027 after the announcement of semifinal results.
