Dallas International Violin Festival and Competition

Every other year in June, the Dallas Chamber Symphony hosts the Dallas International Violin Competition, an event comprised of two separate, but concurrently running parts; 1) an international “Pro” competition for classically trained performers aged 18 to 35 (inclusive) who are ready to launch a solo career, and 2) a “Youth” festival of performances and masterclasses for those aged 15 to 18 (inclusive) and residing in Texas, who have reached an advanced level of performance on their instrument.

The next festival and competition will be held as follows:

Application Deadline: December 15, 2024 at 11:59pm (central)
Competition and Festival Events in Dallas: June 11-17, 2025 in Dallas, TX

Performers who are interested in participating in either the competition or the youth masterclasses can review the required repertoire, entry conditions, and additional details about the competition rounds in the regulations for their respective program.
